Lone Pine Associates Inc is seeking an Accountant to join a growing organization in real estate development, construction, and property management. This role supports the accounting function across multiple areas of the business, with a focus on accurate financial records, strong internal controls, smart use of systems like Yardi, and continuous process improvement. You’ll work closely with leadership and operational teams in an environment that values collaboration and getting things done the right way.

Location: The Chrisman Group corporate office in Enterprise, Oregon

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours/week / Monday - Friday

Compensation: Salary negotiable based on experience

Requirements

Core Responsibilities


General Accounting


· Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records.

· Post and reconcile transactions including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

· Assist with monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and GL tie-outs.

· Maintain schedules for assets, liabilities, loans, reserves, and owner-related activity.

· Support audits, lender reporting, and financial reviews.


Accounts Payable & Receivable 


· Process invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.

· Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.

· Manage accounts receivable including rent, developer fees, construction billings, notes, and owner-related receivables.

· Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.

· Maintain AP and AR aging and support collection efforts as needed.


Property, Development, and Construction Support


Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include:

· Supporting property accounting for a portfolio of properties, including rent posting, subsidy payments, tenant ledger adjustments, and reserve requests.

· Assisting development and construction teams with contract billings, cost tracking, and financial reporting.

· Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

· Preparing financial information for asset managers, project managers, and leadership.


Systems and Process Improvement


· Work in Yardi and other accounting systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

· Learn new tools and workflows as systems evolve.

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency.

· Participate in standardizing procedures across accounting functions.

· Help maintain documentation for accounting policies and workflows.


Controls and Compliance


· Follow internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.

· Maintain accurate records that support audits, lender reviews, and regulatory compliance.

· Protect sensitive financial and personal information.

· Uphold company standards for professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.


Skills and Qualifications


Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

· Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial processes and banking.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Comfort working in accounting systems and learning new software.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


Preferred

· Experience in an accounting role.

· Experience with Yardi or similar accounting platforms.

· Interest in long-term growth and expanded responsibility.
