Position Summary


We are excited to add a Branch Retail Manager to our Hugoton branch as part of our continued commitment to growth and community impact. This leadership role is responsible for driving retail deposit growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring strong operational performance and compliance within the branch.


The Branch Retail Manager will serve as a leader, coach, and trusted advisor, actively engaging in the community while guiding branch staff toward a growth-minded, high-performing culture.


Key Responsibilities


Community & Growth Focus

  • Actively engage in community outreach to attract new deposit relationships
  • Conduct weekly business and customer visits to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and local initiatives
  • Analyze branch performance and develop strategies to drive deposit growth and retail expansion

In-Branch Responsibilities

  • Open and service new deposit accounts
  • Originate and manage consumer loan relationships
  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor to customers by identifying financial needs and solutions
  • Perform teller and retail transactions as needed to support branch operations
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide training, coaching, and development for branch retail staff
  • Promote accountability, productivity, and a positive customer experience

Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail banking, branch operations, or financial services required
  • Demonstrates success in  customer relationship development and deposit growth
  • Strong understanding of consumer lending, new accounts, and teller operations
  • Knowledge of banking compliance and procedures
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
