 Job Overview: Cogent People Inc. is seeking a motivated Infrastructure Security Specialist Jr. Level to define and implement cloud infrastructure and security frameworks aligned with business and performance goals. This role includes infrastructure provisioning, security monitoring, documenting cloud security controls, transitioning to managed security operations, and conducting code reviews to identify vulnerabilities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provision and monitor large-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS, using automated tools. 
• Define and apply cloud security frameworks and controls that meet business requirements. 
• Document implementation of cloud security controls and support transition to cloud security-managed operations. 
• Conduct application security code reviews and scans to detect potential security risks. 
• Perform security risk assessments and application security reviews to ensure compliance with policies. 
• Collaborate with teams to enhance cloud security posture and address vulnerabilities. 

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in: 

• AWS 
• IaC tools (Terraform) 
• Infrastructure Security  
• Security Risk Assessment, Monitoring, and Remediation  
• Application Security Reviews  

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams. 

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and effective time management.
