Description
The primary purpose of the LPN/RN position is to provide direct nursing care to residents as a member of an interdisciplinary team of care providers and to plan, supervise and evaluate the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Requirements
Education:
- Must possess an LPN degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved diploma program.
- Must possess an RN degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved school pf professional nursing.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of nursing leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a staff nurse in a long-term care facility.
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
