Luminos Hospice is seeking a compassionate, part-time Music Therapist to provide meaningful, comfort-centered experiences for our hospice patients. This role focuses on one-on-one musical engagement, thoughtfully tailored to each patient’s preferences to bring peace, connection, and healing during their care journey.

Role Highlights:

• Provide individualized music sessions for hospice patients

• Customize musical experiences to support comfort, emotional well-being, and connection

• Serve patients in both private homes and care facilities

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Comfortable working with elderly patients and the sensitive nature of hospice care  

• Willing to travel up to 1 hour from Blue Springs as needed  

• Ability to visit patients in homes and facilities  

• Own musical equipment required  

• Musical focus on Classic Country and Gospel 

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a musician  

• Music Therapy certification not required, but strongly preferred
