Description

This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, adjusting, and approving warranty claims to ensure compliance with established Warranty Policies & Procedures in effect at the time of repair. The position provides support to dealers, field staff, and corporate employees to ensure warranty claims are submitted accurately and paid in a timely manner. The role also supports training efforts and trend analysis related to warranty activity and claim processing systems.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and process warranty claims in accordance with established warranty policies and procedures
  • Perform technical analysis to validate claim eligibility, coverage, and proper coding
  • Adjust and approve warranty claims for payment
  • Provide phone and email support to dealers, field staff, and corporate employees
  • Clarify warranty coverage, eligibility, and policy requirements
  • Ensure claim adjustments are properly documented and implemented through the Warranty Audit Trail
  • Maintain and update SAGA to support accurate and efficient claim processing
  • Review and resolve claims that fail SAGA edits
  • Track and analyze warranty trends to identify issues and improvement opportunities
  • Train dealer personnel, new corporate employees, and field staff on  warranty Policies, Procedures, and SAGA claim processing
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of approved warranty claims


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (warranty, claims, automotive, or related field)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply warranty policies consistently
  • Comfortable working in claim-processing and internal systems
