Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Claim Adjuster, you’ll be a lead worker in the Claim Department, helping staff and clients navigate the claim process, including complex losses:
- Investigate & Resolve Claims: Assess and resolve all types of auto claims with moderate supervision, focusing on coverage, liability, and damages
- Judgment & Decision-Making: Use sound judgment to analyze claim exposure and determine the best course of action
- Cost Control: Manage claim expenses while ensuring favorable outcomes
- Collaboration: Work closely with all parties involved in the claim process
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Timely Documentation: Document and communicate claims activity clearly and efficiently
- Train: Review the work of less experienced personnel and provide training as appropriate
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We're searching for a seasoned claims professional who is customer-focused and skilled in effective, cost-conscious claims handling. Ideal candidates will have:
- At least 3 years of experience in personal auto claim processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with technology and excellent communication skills
- Spanish fluency is a plus
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and "street smarts"
- Superior skills in coverage analysis and negotiation
- Bachelor/Associate Degree a plus
