In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive the help and support they need:
- Answer Calls & Assist Customers: Respond to inquiries with professionalism and care, whether they’re reporting claims or seeking assistance
- New Claims Reporting: Help customers start their claims journey with efficiency and empathy
- Data Entry: Accurately gather and enter confidential information into our systems
- Deliver Excellent Service: Uphold AFIC's commitment to quality, leaving customers with a positive experience
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a bilingual (Haitian Creole-English) Customer Service Representative with a passion for assisting customers, handling inquiries, and keeping things running smoothly. If you're organized, responsible, and confident on the phone, you’ll be a great fit for this role. When a customer calls and hears, “_Mèsi paske w rele American Freedom Insurance, kijan nou ka ede w?”_ (“Thank you for calling American Freedom Insurance, how can we assist you?”), you’ll be responding with empathy and clarity.
- Fluent in French or Haitian Creole and English
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Experience in customer service, call centers, or collections
- Detail-oriented with clerical or data entry experience
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Solid PC skills and a typing speed of at least 30 wpm
- High school diploma or equivalent (insurance experience is a plus!)
