Site Safety Manager – Grading & Utility Division
Location: Metro Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (arrive by 6:45 AM)
Travel: Daily to multiple job sites (typically two per day) throughout the metro area
Compensation: Based on experience and certifications
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Site Safety Manager to join our Grading and Utility Division. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of construction safety experience with a strong background in grading and underground utility operations. This role is responsible for conducting daily jobsite safety inspections, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company safety standards, and promoting a proactive safety culture across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site safety inspections at multiple job sites.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Oversee safety for excavation operations, including installation of storm drain, water, sanitary sewer, hydrants, and roof drains.
- Monitor confined space work for both subcontractors and in-house pipe crews.
- Lead daily safety meetings, Job Safety Analyses (JSA)/Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and toolbox talks.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience (grading and utility focus preferred).
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification (required).
- First Aid/CPR certification (required).
- Excavation Competent Person certification (required).
- Confined Space Competent Person certification (required).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel daily to multiple job sites in the metro Atlanta area.
