The Office Manager will:
Recruit, participate in hiring process, train, and supervise day habilitation programming staff.
Oversees the scheduling of day programming staff including regular tasks, break times, and adequate time for documentation. Ensure implementation of person-centered support plans and progress towards client goals.
Promote independence and inclusion amongst clients and programming staff
Attend team & department management meetings.
Participate in company committees and attend training and seminars to continue developing professional skills.
Maintain a positive working relationship with other personnel, volunteers and consumers.
Maintain general order and a disciplined atmosphere in accordance with program policy and procedures.
Participate in staffing meeting preparation in coordination with the Service Coordinator.
Address maladaptive client behaviors and ensure behavior modification strategies are used appropriately and according to person-centered support plans.
Coordinate staff coverage of activities and outings.
Maintain proper medication storage, documentation and administration procedures are followed.
Ensure clients are assisted with self-care when appropriate such as with toileting and during mealtimes.
Provide activity and floor coverage for breaks and staff absences when appropriate.
Maintain client and personnel records associated with Mt. Pleasant location.
Sign-On Bonus: $1500
Typical schedule, M-F 8am-4pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Ability to pass background check
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in social services or related fields is preferred.
Experience working in a direct support role is preferred.
Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is preferred.
Management or supervisory experience preferred.
