Nexus Family Healing is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our Onarga, IL location!
Nexus-Onarga Family Healing is located approximately 30 miles south of Kankakee and 45 miles north of Champaign-Urbana, just a few miles off of I-57 on a historic site in Onarga, IL. Nexus Onarga provides boys ages 10 to 20 years old a structured, homelike environment where they can safely address a variety of unhealthy behaviors and mental health issues as well as childhood trauma.

Work Schedule & Salary:
- Salary starts at $80,000-$88,000 annually based on years of related experience and credentials.
- Schedule - Full-time, salaried, on-site opportunity with flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of the program and on call hours required.
- Travel - Some travel required including ongoing leadership training in MN with additional travel for appointments, court dates and other Nexus events as needed.
Work Environment:
- May be required to assist staff in proper restraining of clients.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100+ pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (2-4 hours).
- Must be able to walk, sit, stand, twist, bend, and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities within the residential program.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and/or laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

The Clinical Supervisor oversees, leads, and develops staff and manages daily operations through effective leadership, communication, organization, and planning. This role is responsible for collaboratively meeting budgeted census projections while providing leadership to the Clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements and maintains operational and clinical program goals, procedures and systems that support efficient and effective delivery of treatment services.
- Provides direct oversight and ongoing monitoring of the service delivery and collaborates with coworkers to ensure an emotionally and physically safe environment for clients that is also positive, respectful, clean, trauma-informed and therapeutic.
- Implements and ensures the service delivery and adherence to all the components of the treatment service model are consistent with evidence-based trauma informed and therapeutic practices.
- Maintains appropriate census, budgetary and expense management to ensure financial goals are achieved.
- Ensures that direct service goals of supervisees are met.
- Continually monitors the effectiveness of the treatment model and proactively implements improvements and enhancements as warranted.
- Leads the selection, retention, training, ongoing development and performance evaluation of staff.
- Participates as a multi-disciplinary team member in developing and implementing assessments, treatment plans, and strategies that will maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
- Develops and maintains outcome data tracking systems to measure program effectiveness and produces required reporting.
- Ensures that up-to-date policy and procedure manuals are kept.
- Ensures that all licensing and accreditation standards are maintained and provides direction and support on interpretation and expectations requirements with all Medicaid, COA, and other accreditation bodies' standards, guidelines, and licensing pertaining to the assigned program.
- Coordinates and assists with activities and reports during audit and accreditation reviews as necessary.
- Develops and fosters positive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Complies with all company policies, related laws and regulations pertaining to the position and for fulfilling the obligations under HIPAA, COA, Medicaid and other state and federal entities as required.
Required Education and Licensure
- Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field required.
- Will consider candidates meeting the Mental Health Service Definitions and Professional Qualifications of a Mental Health Professional (MHP), as defined by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, AND Is currently enrolled and within two (2) years of graduating from a program, resulting in a Master’s degree in Social Services, Psychology, or clinically related field.
- Minimum of 2 years providing adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or clinical experience.
- Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements.
Nice to Have:
- 3 years supervisory or program management experience in a residential or group home.
- 5 years of experience in adolescent, adult, family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience.
- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional: LCPC, LCSW, LASOP preferred.
