Description
Essential Duties:
- Assist with receiving, sorting, categorizing, inventorying, and storage of donated items
- Inspect donations for apparent damage, expirations dates, and handle any discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and food are delivered
- Maintain, count, and distribute/deliver inventory on a regular basis and ensure sufficient supplies are available for operations
- Attends and actively participates in staff meetings
Other Duties:
- Any other duties required by supervisor
- Serve as back up Truck Driver
- Maintains confidentiality of all data, including guests, employee, and operational data
Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience using a forklift and pallet jack
- Experience driving a box truck and ability to obtain DOT Card
- Must have excellent and demonstrated interpersonal relations and both written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, computer input, and database management
Other Factors to Consider:
- Ability to walk, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 100 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
- Excellent reading and writing skills; typing/computer usage; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures;
- Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
