Lancaster Farming is an award-winning agricultural and rural life news outlet. Our print and digital content ranges from national policy to everyday life on local farms. This is a part-time position for 10 hours per week with a starting wage of $21.50 an hour. There is room for advancement, so pay and hours can scale up as the new position develops.

Essential Job Functions:
- Photograph news events, features and portraits under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with editors and reporters to deliver impactful visuals.
- Edit and prepare images for publication using photo-editing software.
- Manage editorial department’s photo library.
- Maintain photography equipment and stay current with industry trends.
- Proven photography experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in digital photography and editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of agriculture and rural community issues.
- Video shooting/editing experience is a plus.
- Graphic design experience is a plus.
