Description

General Responsibilities:


Delivers exceptional experience to customers and prospects with a focus on meeting the financial needs of all areas of our community. Actively seeks opportunities to expand relationships. Counsels clients, providing needs-based financial solutions. Capable of supporting clients in-person or virtually. Guides and coaches staff to meet performance objectives and assigned goals. Oversees branch office operations. Responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and providing support related to the day-to-day branch operational activities and financial services of the Bank. Supports the team in the absence of the Branch Manager.



Essential Duties:

  • Performs various duties relating to the Branch as follows:
  • Successful Completion of One Bank/One Team/One Brand discipline of collaboration and teamwork in order to achieve bank objectives. 
  • Maintains working knowledge of Bank’s consumer deposit and loan product offerings as well as business deposit and cash management services.
  • Engages and advises customers in person and/or virtually in order to attract, retain, and grow relationships. 
  • Assists clients with deposit account and ancillary service selections in line with their needs, opening them in a timely manner. 
  • Counsels clients on consumer financing options. Processes and closes consumer loans. 
  • Aptly and confidently demonstrates and educates our customer base on our technology products and services.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial services including Wealth Management, Cash Management, and Merchant Processing.
  • Provides branch oversight and training in practice of procedures and policies. Keeps up-to-date on changing banking regulations to ensure staff compliance. 
  • Professionally represents the bank in the community by periodically attending events, tabling, and educating the public on matters of financial literacy and the bank’s products and services.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the branch. Able to efficiently process transactions as well as provide override approvals and signing authority as needed. In addition addresses customer and staff issues in conjunction with and in the absence of the Branch Manager.



Ancillary Duties:

  • Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or General Banking Diploma preferred. Training in customer service, leadership, and relationship building and management needed.


Skill(s): Must demonstrate ability to communicate across various channels (face-to-face, email, video conference, text/chat, social media); good interpersonal relationship skills; strong problem solving skills; able to lead, coach and motivate others; possess a thorough knowledge of branch operations and administration; be conversant in consumer and business financial products and services; solid consumer lending skills; proficient in use of various types of technology and software. Bi-lingual language a plus.


Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in a related position normally required.
