The Admissions Coordinator position is a full-time hybrid position during the day shift from 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating weekends.
Requirements of the Admissions Coordinator:
· Possession of a current license to practice as a vocational nurse in California required.
· One-year recent acute care experience; hospice experience preferred.
· At least one year of experience demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Proficient in EMR systems, internet navigation, and data entry. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite, along with excellent data entry skills preferred.
· Previous experience in the Admissions department, including expertise in Managed Care Insurance eligibility, verification, and authorization processes preferred.
· Working knowledge of medical terminology.
