Powder Coating Systems is looking for a Swing Shift Packing Lead to assist on our floor. 

This position is an hourly, full-time position. 

The shift for this position will be Monday-Friday from 1PM to 9:30PM. 

The starting wage for this position is between $22-25 per hour depending on experience. 

After the initial ninety-day probationary period, employees are eligible for six paid holidays a year and Paid Time Off (PTO) that starts to accrue from the first day of work. 

Employees past their probation are also eligible to receive a Sales Based Production Bonus that accrues monthly, but is paid quarterly. 

 
 

This position is a management position. 

The person in this position is responsible to the Swing Shift Supervisor. 

The main responsibilities for this position involve leading a team to inspect and pack jobs that have been coated. 

Not only does this involve packing the jobs, but also involves ensuring documentation is complete to turn into the office for invoicing as well. 

This position will also be responsible for backing up the Swing Supervisor in case of absence or vacation. 

 
 

The best candidates will have prior experience supervising a team of around ten people performing various jobs in the shop as well as experience driving a sit-down forklift. This position is expected to lead by example and actively participate in the job at hand. This person needs to be able to read and complete work orders for special packing instructions.   

Requirements

  

The following are the mandatory requirements for this position: 

-Must have 2-5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in a shop environment. 

-Must have 2-5 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift safely. 

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. 

-Must have reliable transportation to get to work daily. 

-Must have legal documentation to complete an I-9. (Copies are not accepted.) 

 
 

The following are not mandatory, but would be wonderful to have: 

-Experience working in a paint/powder shop. 

-Experience using hand tools, air tools, power tools and an indoor crane. 

-Mechanically minded. 

-Bilingual a plus. 

-Must be able to use a tablet.
