Description


The IT Asset Management Analyst supports the projects and daily operations of the IT Asset Management Program. This position is on site in Golden, CO and is temporary (approximately six months). 


Duties and Responsibilities


Hardware Asset Management

  • Conduct physical stockroom inventories
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory shortages and discrepancies
  • Move inventory between stockrooms and locations
  • Assist in the inventory and management of the IT vending machine
  • Manage hardware and consumable assets in ServiceNow stockrooms

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with the IT Service Desk and Desktop Support teams to ensure their stockrooms have adequate inventory
  • Collaborate with the Property Management team to locate tagged equipment, update inventory records and reconcile discrepancies between asset management systems

Queue Management

  • Monitor IT Asset Management queue and provide updates to requesters, as appropriate
  • Identify and fulfill “Tier 1” requests/tasks

Other project tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements

 

Required Qualifications

  

  • One year Hardware Asset and Inventory Management experience
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with major hardware OEMs, vendors and models
  • Ability to effectively work in a hybrid collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Customer service experience and commitment to customer service and support
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Initiative to anticipate issues and provide insight into solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage projects in parallel with daily tasks 
  • Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency and accuracy, in a fast-paced team environment
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications


 Desired Qualifications


  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and HAM/ITAM functionality
  • General technical knowledge and experience

 

Security Clearance


The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.


Background Check and Screenings
