As a Consulting Associate Intern, you will play a key role in helping our Advisory & Assurance team stay ahead in the fast-changing compliance landscape. In this role you will develop an agentic AI solution designed to integrate industry changes into our existing infrastructure. By leveraging threat intelligence and security feeds, you will identify emerging cybersecurity trends and updates to frameworks and regulations, then ensure this tool can reflect the changes in our materials and knowledge base. You will work directly with our internal teams to enhance and maintain our expertise within fullCircle and help us maintain a competitive edge.  


Core Responsibilities  

In this role, you will: 

  • Build an AI agent leveraging our AI orchestration tools and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to detect, process, and integrate changes from compliance frameworks and threat intelligence feeds 
  • Analyze new industry trends, frameworks, and versions to identify relevant updates for integration into our existing team knowledge base and resources 
  • Update and optimize existing templates, controls, evidence requests, recommendations, and mappings to reflect industry changes 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with cybersecurity, compliance, and engineering teams to define requirements and validate updates 
  • Present your work, methodology, and results to the team  
  • Work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where each week brings new challenges and problem-solving opportunities 
  • Apply structured thinking to ambiguous problems, formulating actionable solutions 
Requirements

 

Education and Experience 

  • Actively pursuing a degree in computer science, technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related field 
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)  
  • Familiarity with AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts (coursework or project experience preferred) 
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles 
  • Experience with consulting, project management, or client-facing projects 
  • Ability to analyze data and identify relevant trends with strong problem-solving skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presenting findings 
  • Comfort working with evolving requirements  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Bonus Points: 
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar) 
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts 
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc. 
  • Exposure to compliance automation or AI-powered tools 
  • Awareness of cloud computing and SaaS architecture (AWS, Azure, or similar experience) 
  • Exposure to agentic AI orchestration workflows or platforms 
  • Exposure to responsible AI or ethical AI frameworks
