Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Facilitates the interaction of maintenance work in the plant process areas.
- Recommends budgets to management, including staff use, technology, facility and equipment requirements or improvements.
- Performs and directs Root Cause Analysis for equipment/systems. Identifies and resolves repeat failure issues. Specifies equipment for replacement or improvement.
- Troubleshoots problem equipment. Makes decisions about how/whether to repair equipment.
- Approves MOCs (Management of Change).
- Designs Preventative Maintenance programs and other Predictive measures to improve up-time and productivity.
- Accountable for turnaround coordination, scheduling and supervising internal and external contractors.
- Manages unit spare parts Stores inventory (completeness and efficiency).
- Improves maintenance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) including maintenance safety, downtime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and productivity.
- Estimates and prepares AR's for capital projects performed by maintenance.
Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience: 10+ years’ experience
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 365
Certifications & Licenses: None
Supervisory Responsibilities: Entire Maintenance Department
Other Requirements:
- Must have thorough knowledge of Chemical maintenance and manufacturing processes and equipment
- Must have knowledge of all crafts in maintenance area
- Must have strong experience in Rotating Equipment
- Must have strong experience in developing and implementing maintenance excellence processes
- Must have excellent organizational, management, and communication skills
- Must be able to work within budgetary constraints
- Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be familiar with EH&S procedures and policies
- Strong knowledge of code standards – PSM/RMP/NFPA/API/ASME
- SAP Experience a plus
