What you’ll do

As the Program Optimization Manager, you will drive the strategic vision and execution of our PBM program operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities. This role focuses on conceptualizing and delivering innovative program solutions, managing the full program lifecycle, and fostering collaboration with IT, Marketing, and operations to ensure seamless integration and implementation. By identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability, you will streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Leveraging a balance of strategic foresight and attention to detail, you will spearhead initiatives that elevate our program offerings, fuel innovation, and position the organization for long-term growth and success.


The fundamentals for the job 

Responsibilities include: 

  

  • Manage the end-to-end program operations lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, development, launch, and optimization.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for program operations innovation and improvement that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Execute program strategies into actionable operational plans, aligning with organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to propose and prioritize program initiatives against competing projects and resources that support business objectives.
  • Partner with IT to ensure technology solutions meet program requirements and support seamless implementation.
  • Work closely with operational teams to document and optimize workflows for program implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with marketing to conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Act as a liaison between IT, operations, and marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment on program priorities and deliverables.
  • Maintain and continuously update the program documentation library to reflect current offerings, workflows, and operational processes.
  • Engage with clients, partners, and internal teams to gather feedback and insights to inform program strategy.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success and operational efficiency.
  • Report on program performance, project milestones, and strategic outcomes to leadership.
  • Champion Agile practices and methodologies into program development, enabling adaptive planning and delivering high-value solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay ahead of trends, innovations, and policy changes within the healthcare, pharmacy, and PBM industries. Apply Agile methodologies to identify emerging opportunities, enhance program strategies, and drive continuous improvement in delivering value to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing creative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support cross-functional objectives.

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Operations, or a Healthcare related field 

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

  • Any Program Certification (Preferred) 
  • Agile or Lean Six Sigma certification (Preferred) 

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to remain seated or stand for long periods during meetings and presentations.
  • Occasional travel and lifting of materials (up to 25 pounds) may be necessary.
