Miller Edge, Inc. is seeking a Production Assembler Level I to assemble fabricated parts and components using hand and power tools according to standard work instructions and product specifications. This entry-level role works under close supervision and is ideal for individuals with 0–1 year of experience seeking a career in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and sub-assemblies per standard work instructions
- Read and follow assembly and measurement instructions
- Prepare materials, tools, and workstations
- Measure, test, and inspect components to meet specifications
- Use hand tools, machines, and basic computer systems
- Meet production cycle times and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety regulations
- Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors
- Cross-train in other assembly areas as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–1 year of general or manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment and varying temperatures
