Herrmann Ultrasonics is hiring for an Applications Engineer the PLASTICS division!

Job profile Applications Engineer - PLASTICS division
- Planning and documentation of our Ultrasonic Welding Application development projects
- The applications engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to our customers
- Assisting with technical trainings and customer seminars
- Execute Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing and customer personnel training
- Providing technical support to our customers including phone/email support, on-site, and in-house customer visits
- Assuming emergency and stand-by services including provision of shipping and or delivery of spare parts
Requirements
- Basic theoretical knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, and PLC control
- Minimal education required is an associates degree
- One year of relevant mechanical and electrical work experience preferred
- Excellent communications skills and motivated to build long term relationships with customers and colleagues
- Applications Engineer has knowledge of the automation machine industry
