Position Summary

The Primary Care Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients and serve in a clinical leadership role, including the supervision and collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to ensure coordinated, high-quality, and compliant care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct primary care services to adult patients
     
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope
     
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging
     
  • Coordinate specialty referrals and consultations
     
  • Develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans
     
  • Supervise and collaborate with NPs and PAs, including chart review and clinical oversight as required by California regulations
     
  • Support clinical quality initiatives and best practices
     
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
     
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, quality, and clinical standards

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school  
  • Licensure: 
    • Current, unrestricted California medical license  
    • Active DEA registration (or eligible)  
  • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine 


  • Experience: 
    • Primary care experience preferred  
    • Prior experience supervising midlevel providers preferred but not required

225.000- 250,000
