Position Title: Conformal Coating Operator

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Job Summary:
The Conformal Coating Operator position is responsible for performing detailed manual application and correction of conformal coating on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies. This role ensures coating accuracy in areas requiring additional coverage or removal of excess material. The position supports quality standards by using precision tools to verify that coated assemblies meet visual and functional requirements, while following strict process and cleanliness guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Record keeping for machine maintenance purposes.
· Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting.
· Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage.
· Remove any excess coating and perform manual touch-up of any areas the coating machine may miss so boards maintain a consistent high quality.
· Transport racks of circuit boards from one destination to another to continue the manufacturing process.
· Maintenance includes changing fluids and cleaning machines to ensure efficient operation.
· Perform general housekeeping duties to always provide a safe and clean working environment.
· Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements.
· Assist with companywide tasks.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
· Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
