Canyon Coffee is hiring full time and part time baristas for our first New York location in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company standards
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
• Handle register operations and process transactions accurately
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Promote menu items and upsell products to enhance customer experience

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred and those with specialty coffee experience will be prioritized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40lbs
• Frequent bending at the waist, reaching, grabbing, potential squatting, kneeling
• Moving / working indoor and outdoor (patio, deliveries, hospitality) throughout seasons
• Exposure to generally bustling/loud cafe environments, music, guest chatter, street noises, etc.
