Dental Assistant – Full-Time

Fairmont Family Dental is a busy, patient-focused two-doctor practice in Pasadena, TX, and we’re looking for an experienced, well-rounded Dental Assistant to join our amazing clinical team!

This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule and a supportive environment where your skills, initiative, and teamwork truly matter.

Schedule & Office Hours

• Office closed Mondays
• Rotating schedule:
  
  • Week 1: Tuesday – Friday
  • Week 2: Tuesday – Saturday
• Hours:
  
  • Tuesday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience (required)
• Must be able to work all listed office hours
• Highly organized and proactive — able to anticipate doctor needs
• Comfortable making temporaries
• Strong chairside and clinical skills
• Reliable team player with a positive, professional attitude

Preferred Clinical Experience

• iTero scanning
• CBCT
• Implants
• Endodontics
• Oral surgery / extractions
• Experience with Open Dental software (preferred)

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
• CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
