Position Title: CDL-A Laborer

Reports To: Project Manager

Department: Hard Surface Restoration

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Job Summary: 

We are looking for CDL-A Laborers to join our team! As a laborer, you would be responsible for transporting equipment and products to and from job sites, as well as assisting the foreman and team with general laborer tasks. 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparing, loading, transporting, and unloading of products to and from job sites; following all DOT requirements and regulations

· Assist the foreman and team with restoration of asphalt and concrete

· Manual labor of forming, pouring, finishing, and stripping of concrete

· Operate hand-tools or power tools as needed

· Assist crew members with other tasks as needed

· Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements:

· Three years of experience preferred, but not required

· Valid CDL-A License 

· Satisfactory driving record (MVR check will be conducted prior to hire)

· Ability to lift 50 pounds, squat and stand for long periods of time

· Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening

· Ability to be a team player

· Willing to work overtime and weekends, and work in all weather conditions
