Austin Center for Endodontics is seeking a dependable, full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms before patient examinations and procedures.
- Assist the dentist throughout a variety of dental procedures by passing instruments, managing suction, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Take and record vital signs and complete patient assessments as needed.
- Capture dental x-rays and other imaging as directed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health system.
- Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene guidance and post-operative care instructions.
- Help manage the schedule by booking appointments and supporting patient flow throughout the day.
- One or more years of experience in dentistry is preferred.
- Active RDA license is required.
- Openness to training is welcomed, but the ability to learn new systems quickly and maintain strong attention to detail is essential.
- Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA guidelines.
- Comfort using electronic health record software.
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic assessments.
- Experience with dental imaging is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety protocols.
