Description

Revenue Cycle Lead
Location: Lynnwood, WA (On-site)
Department: Finance / Revenue Cycle
Reports to: Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Experience Momentum is seeking a Revenue Cycle Lead to serve as the on-site owner of our revenue cycle outcomes for our 3 locations. This role is accountable for the performance, accuracy, and integrity of all revenue cycle operations and acts as the primary liaison between Experience Momentum and our offshore revenue cycle partner.

This position does not manage personnel. Instead, the Revenue Cycle Lead owns results — ensuring work is executed correctly, trends are identified early, and both the patient financial experience and company revenue are protected. This role is central to our operational health and requires a strong sense of accountability, curiosity, and systems thinking.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Revenue Cycle Ownership

  • Own the outcomes of the full revenue cycle, regardless of where execution occurs
  • Serve as the primary liaison with our offshore revenue cycle partner, ensuring workflows, standards, and expectations are clearly defined and upheld
  • Act as the single point of contact for internal revenue cycle questions, escalations, and clarifications
  • Protect and elevate the patient financial experience through clear communication, accuracy, and timely issue resolution
  • Translate revenue cycle data, payer behavior, and trends into actionable insights for leadership and teams

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee and validate offshore execution of billing, insurance follow-ups, collections, cash posting, account management, and claims resolution
  • Monitor accounts receivable performance, aging, denial trends, and resolution timelines
  • Identify payer- and discipline-specific trends such as recurring denials, reimbursement changes, and processing delays
  • Proactively report risks, trends, and recommendations to Operations, clinical leadership, and front-line teams
  • Ensure provider, credentialing, and billing data remain accurate across systems
  • Partner with Accounting to support monthly close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex patient billing and collections concerns
  • Ensure revenue cycle workflows are documented, understood, and consistently followed

On-Site Financial Controls

  • Receive, document, and deposit on-site patient payments, including checks
  • Ensure deposits are completed accurately and in accordance with internal controls and timelines
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation related to payment handling
  • Coordinate closely with Accounting to resolve discrepancies efficiently

What Success Looks Like

  • Accounts receivable performance meets or exceeds established targets
  • Offshore revenue cycle work is accurate, timely, and consistent
  • Reduction in repeat billing issues and payer-related escalations
  • Clear, useful revenue cycle reporting and payer trend insights
  • Positive feedback from patients and internal teams regarding billing experience
  • Strong audit readiness and financial documentation accuracy

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable working with offshore partners and distributed teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and drive action
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, billing platforms, and reporting tools
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, (Physical Therapy billing experience preferred)

Capacity:
