We are now accepting applications for Banquet and Events Set-up at Basin Harbor!
Our Event Set-up team prepares and breaks down the tables, chairs, other furniture, and decor for our group meetings, weddings, luncheons and banquets, including for our outdoor dining groups and events. Duties include changing linens, cleaning of functions areas (garbage removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc.), inspecting furniture and decor for safety of use, and setting up meeting rooms with proper materials (paper/pens, ice/water, glass/silverware, other amenities)
We are currently seeking a full-time, seasonal Lead Banquet and Events Set-up person to directly supervise our set-up team. This seasonal position will run from mid-May though October, 2026.
Some essential competencies are: Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards, prior banquet or events set-up required, able to take and give clear direction and work in a team environment, attention to detail, efficient, and able to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast-paced environment. A clean, well kept, professional appearance is required. As well, shift work may be long and varied, including evening and weekends, required full-shift walking and standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout shift.
