Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining clinical information systems to improve patient care and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and information technology, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze clinical workflows across CLS Health clinics to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement
  • Design, implement, and optimize clinical information systems to enhance patient care, provider efficiency, and clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure information systems align with clinical and organizational needs
  • Lead and support provider go-lives, including pre-go-live readiness, day-one activation, and post-go-live stabilization
  • Provide on-site and virtual clinical support during go-lives and ongoing operations to ensure smooth adoption of systems and workflows
  • Train providers and clinical staff on the effective use of clinical information systems, including workflows, templates, order sets, and best-practice optimization
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot clinical information systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and standardized workflows related to clinical information systems
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in clinical informatics and healthcare technology
  • Travel to all CLS Health clinic locations as needed to support go-lives, workflow optimization, training, and clinical operations

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a related role.
  • eClinicalWorks experience is a must.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in computer systems with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Skilled in training providers/staffs to improve clinical data management
