About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounting team in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accountant looking to build a strong foundation in general accounting, inventory, and ERP systems.

You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller, supporting daily accounting operations, month-end close, and maintaining accurate financial records using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry and recordkeeping
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Prepare and post journal entries; perform account reconciliations
  • Assist with inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Enter and verify transactions in Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Generate financial, inventory, and management reports
  • Maintain organized accounting documentation and files
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and internal reviews
  • Participate in ERP and accounting process improvements

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience a plus)
  • Internships or recent graduates welcome
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Exposure to ERP systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred)
  • Manufacturing or production-based accounting experience
  • Familiarity with inventory controls, standard costing, or variance analysis
