This person should love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!
About the Pet Parent Coordinator Role:
- The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups.
- Greet everyone who walks in or out of Dogtopia.
- Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone and in person.
- Check pups in and out of daycare.
- Share information about our daycare packages and memberships with Pet Parents.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Must be energetic, proactive, and a creative problem solver.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment and at times stressful environment.
- Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette.
- Jack of all trades, roll up your sleeves type of person. This role is integral in growing the business alongside the General Manager.
- Not afraid to jump in whenever and wherever is needed. Committed to the success of the team and not just the individual role.
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years in a sales or customer service-related role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous sales experience (preference for prior work in a sales quota structure)
- Functional computer skills required – MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use.
- High school diploma required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to check dogs in and out and manage leashed dogs during the check in process.
Other Requirements:
- Must love dogs.
Salary Description
$17.00-$17.50/hour
