Banquet Service Staff (Hourly)

Banquet Service Staff provide essential operational support during private and large-scale events at The Attic at Waterman’s, Festival on 8th, The Shack, and select off-site venues. This role is primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays, scheduled based on event needs.


Key Responsibilities

Event Support & Setup

  • Arrive on time and event-ready to support setup, service flow, and overall event execution.
  • Assist bartenders with bar preparation, including stocking supplies, ice, glassware, and equipment.
  • Support bar operations during events to ensure efficient, uninterrupted service.
  • Organize, return, and maintain service equipment and supplies throughout and after events.

Service Assistance

  • Maintain buffet stations by replenishing food, monitoring presentation, and ensuring consistent quality.
  • Support banquet servers with table maintenance, including clearing plates and resetting service areas.
  • Respond promptly to spills or broken items, maintaining a safe and polished event environment.

Venue Standards & Cleanliness

  • Assist with dishwashing and proper handling of dishes and glassware at select venues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across event spaces, service stations, and back-of-house areas.
  • Participate in event breakdowns and post-event cleanup to ensure venues are left event-ready.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Comfortable navigating stairs and standing for extended periods.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume event settings.

Schedule & Availability

  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
  • Shifts scheduled based on event demand.
  • Availability for large-scale events and peak holiday weekends is essential.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in hospitality, banquets, or event support preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
