From our specialty grocer to our innovative restaurants, this position ensures every plate starts with a spotless foundation. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen tools, dishware, and work areas, directly supporting a safe and seamless operation for the culinary team and our guests.


Operational Responsibilities:

  • Execute timely and thorough cleaning of all dishware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dish stations, food prep areas, and back-of-house service zones.
  • Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing machinery.
  • Monitor cleanliness of trash and recycling areas, assisting with removal as needed.
  • Support kitchen team by restocking clean items to appropriate stations throughout service.
  • Assist with closing procedures, including deep cleaning tasks and proper storage of equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization. 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely during shifts. 
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Willingness to undergo training and follow company policies and procedures. 

Working Conditions:

  • A typical work week for this position is 40-45 hours. Hours vary based on needs of the market and the    department.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting objects up to 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist movements.
  • Exposure to hot, cold, and potentially hazardous equipment is possible.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers may be required.
