Delivery Project Manager
Description

Management Controls, Inc. is a fast-growing, enterprise software developer and services provider dedicated to the growth and expansion of its contractor management solutions product offerings. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Project Manager to oversee and manage enterprise SaaS deployments. This role is accountable for delivery outcomes across scope, timeline, budget, quality, and adoption, while serving as the primary bridge between customers, consulting, solution architecture, and engineering. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong leadership to ensure seamless execution of software projects and the transformation of client organizations. 


Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership 

• Maintain ultimate responsibility project scope, schedule, budget, and success criteria 

• Manage RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), change management, integrations, and go-live readiness 

• Drive client confidence and adoption through structured execution 

• Prepare and deliver weekly executive-level status reports to customers and internal leadership 

• Support business process mapping across Procure-to-Pay, Maintenance & Work Management, Capital Projects, and Accounts Payable 

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable implementation requirements 

• Act as the primary delivery interface between customers and internal technical teams 

• Escalate design tradeoffs, feasibility constraints, and roadmap impacts 

• Ensure delivery remains within supported product capabilities 

• Maintain proactive communication with Sales and Account Executives 


Technical Coordination & Risk Leadership 

• Propose implementation approaches aligned with product standards and architectural guardrails with a hands-on process for application configuration, testing, and integration 

• Coordinate integration sequencing across ERP systems and external applications 

• Maintain ownership of Azure DevOps project workstreams and technical ticket visibility 

• Identify technical risks related to integration design, data migration, performance, scalability, and unsupported configurations 

• Drive mitigation plans in partnership with Solution Architects and Engineering 


Commercial Discipline 

• Enforce scope boundaries and protect project margins 

• Prepare, price, and manage formal change orders 


Methodology & Standards Leadership 

• Ensure implementations follow established delivery methodology and quality standards 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of standards, templates, and delivery methodology 

• Share lessons learned to improve scalability and consistency 

Requirements

• University Degree, preferably B.S. Degree in a technical discipline or Business Degree 

• 5+ years leading enterprise SaaS or ERP implementations as Project Manager 

• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel 

• Experience delivering multi-system, integration-heavy projects 

• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay business processes

• Strong executive communication skills 

• Ability to identify technical risks (from integration complexity, integration design that will cause performance problems) and understanding of technical risk mitigation

• Understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend approaches

• Deep understanding of planning, design, build, test, data migration, cutover, and hypercare phases

• Experience implementing integrated solutions, including a working knowledge of API authentication methods and experiences with API testing tools such as Postman

• Experience with software development and SQL 

• Experience implementing, upgrading, and/or integrating with ERP systems 

• Working knowledge of ERP systems implementing, upgrading, and/or integrating with them 

• Knowledge of system integration, and the pros/cons to different approaches 

• Ability to travel up to 25% ?

 

Preferred Qualifications

• MIS/MBA Preferred

• ERP implementation experience strongly preferred 

• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification preferred 

• SAP, Maximo experience preferred; Oracle Financials, JDE, or Dynamics 365 a plus
