Come join our amazing team. UNHS introduced ambulatory care pharmacy services over 10 years ago and the program is thriving with 3 full-time Amb Care clinical pharmacists. We work side by side with our medical providers focusing on DM, CVD, HTN, and anticoagulant management under collaborative practice agreements (CPA) in the primary care office. Pharmacists see their patients during independent clinic visits, changing/starting meds as appropriate and scheduling follow-up, as necessary. We are always looking to expand our clinical pharmacy services through new CPAs (currently considering asthma, pain, and psychopharmacotherapy).
This Full-Time (FT) position will provide services throughout our healthcare system. We are excited to find someone who will make an excellent addition to our pharmacy team. Clinical pharmacists primarily see patients in the medical clinic, but also provide support to the dispensing pharmacies with an average of 8 shifts per month. Scheduling flexibility allows the staff to enjoy a day off during the week or long weekends.
Our health system is a dynamic place to work, practice, and grow. We have 4 primary care health centers and deliver integrated services including behavioral health, pharmacy, dental, specialty referrals, chronic disease management, health education, and much more.
