In this leadership role, you’ll guide and develop a high-performing Leasing Specialist team, oversee leasing operations and compliance, and collaborate closely with property management and internal partners to reduce vacancies and improve systems. You’ll serve as a subject-matter expert in affordable housing leasing, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and continuously refine processes to better serve applicants and residents. What We're Looking For
The person who is ready for this opportunity will generally offer these attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in major office software applications. Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
- Ability to organize and reprioritize work as business needs shift.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent judgment and ability to make sound decisions based on information at hand.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level of accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Minimum four years of experience in affordable housing, including three years of leasing experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
- Experience working with marginalized populations and familiarity with eligibility determination preferred.
- Understanding of fair housing practices and regulations.
- Designation in LIHTC, RD, and/or HUD from nationally recognized trainer.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a team. Management experience preferred.

This is a non-exempt, full-time (37.5 hours/week) position, and the starting hourly rate of pay is $30.77 - $40.00.
