Colorado Dental Group in Colorado Springs has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Dental Hygienist.  We are offering a sign-on-bonus of $2,000.00 for any newly hired Dental Hygienist for this position.  We offer competitive salary, hygiene mentorship program, CE credits and training, along with advancement opportunities.  

Colorado Dental Group is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is an established dental practice offering regular and cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.  Dental Hygienist needed for this growing practice.  We operated under strict protocols and requirements for PPE to ensure overall safety of our staff and patients.  

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients are comfortable and educated through out their dental procedures
• Sterilization of dental instruments
• Conduct initial mouth screenings updating oral health history
• Updating and accurate recording of patient chart in Dentrix
• Identify dental conditions and needs such as periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, gingivitis, and carries
• Patient education on proper oral health techniques such as brushing, flossing, and overall oral hygiene
• Build relationships with patients by providing a distinctive patient experience
• Working as a team to ensure the success of the practice
• Taking accurate X-rays and impressions
• Stocking inventory in operatories

Skills

• Proven success as a Dental Hygienist
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• In-Depth knowledge of health and safety regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to be coached and desire to learn
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Active Colorado license
• Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene
