Description

The Law Offices of Gonzalez and Associates is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our team! Our ideal candidate is organized and detail oriented. The position is a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist at our Coral Gables/Miami location. Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Review all firm invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Process daily checks and office deposits via the Trust and Operating accounts
  • Create and maintain vendor records
  • Manage F&A corporate card
  • Provide financial and administrative support to firm’s VP
  • Perform other tasks as needed within the department
Requirements

  Desired Qualifications 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related field
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Understanding of Trust accounting
  • Verbal and written fluency in English & Spanish preferred
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate a personal computer with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Maintain a productive and professional relationship with fellow colleagues
