Role Overview

The IT Specialist is responsible for providing hands-on IT support to end users and supporting the operation of local IT infrastructure. This role works closely with the central IT team to implement infrastructure, security, and system initiatives while ensuring compliance with corporate IT standards and security guidelines. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to end users, including error analysis and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
  • Set up, maintain, and manage workstation systems, including Windows PCs, mobile devices, printers, phones and peripherals
  • Support the operation and maintenance of basic IT infrastructure components such as networks, server rooms, and UPS systems
  • Coordinate and implement IT measures in accordance with central IT specifications (e.g., system rollouts, migrations, and security updates)
  • Collaborate closely with the central IT team to support infrastructure and security-related projects
  • Document IT systems, configurations, support cases, and local IT-specific processes
  • Support compliance with IT security guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external service providers and coordinate on-site technical activities
Requirements
  • Degree or vocational training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience providing end-user IT support in a corporate environment
  • Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and common office hardware
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with global or central IT teams

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or service providers
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
