Job Title: Director of New Business Partnerships   

Department: Sales

Location: Remote

Reports to: Senior Vice President, Partnerships

(Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000/annually + commission)


Who You Are

The Director of New Business Partnerships is a key sales role responsible for prospecting and securing new clients for EducationDynamics solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling to colleges and universities. You will identify and develop new opportunities within higher education marketing and communications teams, positioning and selling our Reputation services. 


Success in this role requires a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to listen, present value clearly, and close. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, collaborates well across teams and demonstrates a high level of persistence and follow-through.

  • Prospect and build new business within an assigned territory of education institutions
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations either in person or virtually to showcase solutions to prospects 
  • Follow up timely follow up to prospects 
  • Conduct discovery with prospective client prior to presenting the solution 
  • Work effectively within a team-selling environment  
  • Provide sales forecasting timely and efficiently 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead prospect through the sales cycle from first call to deal closure 
  • Manage inbound leads 
  • Negotiate contracts and persuade prospective new business clients
  • Understand the market and collect competitive intelligence to strength positioning and selling ability

Requirements

What You Offer


Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2-3 years of proven experience selling to Higher Education 
  • A track record of closing deals and exceeding sales goals 
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office
