DATE REVISED: June 2025 CLASS: Exempt JOB TITLE: Strategic Account Manager – Biologicals and Soil Health REPORTS TO: Director of Sales JOB SUMMARY: The Strategic Account Manager – Biologicals & Soil Health is responsible for driving sales growth and market adoption of biological and soil health amendment products across MKC’s footprint. This role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, pursuing large-scale agronomic opportunities, and expanding MKC’s partnership with PrimeDirt Midwest, Inc. This position requires a strong understanding of agronomy, soil health practices, and biological products, along with the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams, leadership, and external partners. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: ? Strong background in agronomy, crop nutrition, or soil health systems. ? Proven sales experience, preferably in agricultural inputs, biologicals, or specialty products. ? Ability to engage and influence both internal sales teams and external customers. ? Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. ? Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities across a diverse customer base. ? Comfortable working collaboratively across organizations and leadership teams. ? Valid driver’s license PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Eye protection, and hard hats is required in restricted areas. Appropriate clothing required when handling chemicals and hazardous materials. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college or four years of experience in agronomy or a related agricultural field.
