Description

The Order Fulfillment Manager leads IMMY’s Order Processing, Fulfillment, and Logistics operations and plays a critical role in delivering on our customer promise during a period of rapid growth. This role is responsible for building, strengthening, and scaling fulfillment systems that ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time, even as volume, complexity, and regulatory requirements increase. The ideal candidate is an innovative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by solving problems, improving processes, and developing high-performing teams. 


Key Roles and Responsibilities


LMA

  • Use IMMY’s EOS tools to lead, manage, and hold the Order Processing, Fulfillment, and Logistics teams accountable to clear weekly execution and delivery outcomes
  • Set and communicate clear priorities that align daily work with customer commitments, shipment schedules, and rapid growth demands
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, encouraging innovative problem-solving and disciplined execution
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve standard work, SOPs, and training materials to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability
  • Coach and develop team members through regular feedback and performance management to strengthen capability and accountability

Customer Satisfaction

  • Own customer delivery performance by ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time while proactively addressing risks that could impact commitments
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Sales to resolve delivery issues and maintain clear, timely communication on order status and ETAs
  • Use delivery performance data, trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and strengthen customer trust

Order Processing Workflow

  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve order processing workflows that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the business grows
  • Oversee daily order processing execution, ensuring disciplined system transactions, data integrity, and clear prioritization
  • Identify bottlenecks, errors, and handoff gaps in the order lifecycle and implement improvements that support reliable, on-time fulfillment

Logistics and Distribution Workflow

  • Design, own, and continuously strengthen logistics and distribution workflows that deliver accurate, on-time, and scalable customer shipments
  • Lead daily domestic and international shipping execution, setting priorities and enforcing compliance to meet service and delivery commitments
  • Enforce disciplined warehouse organization, finished goods handling, and accurate shipping documentation to ensure fast, compliant, and error-free picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with shipping carriers and logistics providers to ensure dependable delivery performance
  • Actively evaluate and optimize shipping methods and carriers to balance cost, speed, and service as volume and complexity increase
  • Anticipate logistics risks and constraints early and take decisive action to prevent shipment delays or disruptions

The Individual


Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain execution within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams while leveraging technology, data, and systems to manage daily execution and drive performance
  • Strong working experience with ERP systems, order management tools, and shipping platforms, with the ability to ensure disciplined system usage and data integrity
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a track record of anticipating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing scalable solutions
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust, manage conflict, and lead teams through change with empathy and accountability

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience working in a regulated, quality-driven, or life sciences manufacturing environment
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems supporting order management, inventory control, and fulfillment execution
  • Hands-on experience with domestic and international shipping platforms (e.g., UPS, FedEx) and carrier management
  • Working knowledge of 49 CFR, IATA, and other transportation or hazmat-related regulatory requirements
  • DOT hazmat shipping certification, or the ability to obtain certification within a defined timeframe
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience supporting operational scaling, process standardization, or system implementations during periods of rapid growth
