Description

Summary: 

Member Engagement Specialist will focus on outreach to potential patients via outbound phone calls with the goal to enroll the patients into Tria’s Pharmacy Advocate program. The program is a free benefit through their employer sponsored health care plan.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make a minimum of 75 outbound calls daily to engage potential members.
  • Achieve at least 60 program enrollments per month.
  • Clearly explain program benefits and address member questions.
  • Maintain professionalism aligned with Tria Health’s mission and values.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Email and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.). 

  

Job Competencies:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel), Database software, E-mail, and Internet.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to analyze situations objectively, identify potential issues and evaluate different solutions. 
  • Thinking outside the box to generate innovative solutions when faced with challenges. 
  • Strong team player and willingness to work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, and/or to equalize peak work periods or to otherwise balance the workload.

Physical Requirements: Regular standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching. Must use hands frequently and have full range of vision abilities. Occasional lifting/moving of up to 5 lbs. Occasional driving or air travel may be required.

  • Work Environment: Professional office setting using standard office equipment; generally minimal noise except for moderate noise in the mail room.
  • Location: On-site role in the Crossroads Arts District, Kansas City, MO.
  • Schedule:  This position works with a flexible schedule working 15 to 20 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
