About the Role - The Senior Client Associate (CA) is a key member of Cooke Financials' advisor support team, serving as the operational and relationship backbone of a pod-based advisor structure. This role is designed for a high-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of complex client work, and enjoys mentoring and elevating others on the team.


Senior CAs partner closely with Financial Advisors and junior support staff to ensure exceptional client service, flawless execution, and strong internal collaboration. While this role includes administrative and operational responsibilities, the emphasis is on handling higher-risk, more complex client needs and serving as a steady, trusted point of contact.


Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary support partner to Financial Advisors 
  • Manage complex and sensitive client requests, including cash flow instructions, account changes, and time-sensitive transactions
  • Prepare, process, and review client documentation with a high level of accuracy and urgency
  • Enter and review trade orders in collaboration with Advisors
  • Actively prepare for and occasionally participate in client meetings; follow through on post-meeting action items
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure adherence to firm and regulatory standards
  • Proactively identify process improvements to enhance advisor capacity and client experience
  • Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to administrative or entry-level team members within the pod
  • Step in to support other Client Associates as needed, with a team-first mindset

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience supporting Financial Advisors in a wealth management, RIA, or broker-dealer environment
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex client service and operational responsibilities with minimal oversight
  • Active or ability to obtain SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 within six months (active licensing strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience handling high-risk, time-sensitive client requests (i.e. cash movements, account changes, trading coordination)
  • Strong working knowledge of account opening, maintenance, and service workflows across custodial platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a consistent track record of accuracy in client documentation and execution
