Premier Charter School is searching for a dynamic teacher for Music for the 2026-27 school year. We welcome music educators with diverse backgrounds and are open to building the program around the candidate’s strengths — whether that’s vocal music, band, percussion/drum line, or other areas of expertise.


We seek educators who create safe, joyful, and academically engaging classrooms where strong relationships and social-emotional learning support student growth. Our teachers use intentional practices such as class meetings, inquiry-based learning, and Project-Based Learning to foster curiosity, collaboration, and independence. We are open to ideas for this pathway position-vocal

Requirements
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available at this time.)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferred  in education but if working on a post-degree teaching certification, this is also great).
  • State teaching certification (or in the process of obtaining a certification)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans
  • Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to student success


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess student learning and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or questions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
