This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both strategic direction and direct selling. You will coach and develop a high-performing Sales team, strengthen sales execution and forecasting discipline, and personally close key opportunities. This role is ideal for a leader who still loves to sell, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to drive measurable growth.

You’ll help Elm Street expand our reach and impact in the real estate industry by helping agents and brokerages grow through integrated marketing and technology solutions including websites, CRM, and marketing automations.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Work in tandem with the Chief Growth Officer to drive revenue performance for the team (new business + expansion)
  • Strengthen and scale a consistent sales process from discovery through close
  • Partner with Marketing on inbound/outbound strategy and conversion performance
  • Monitor pipeline health, performance trends, and forecasting accuracy
     

Hands-On Leadership Responsibilities 

  • Close deals directly
  • Lead by example through consistent activity, professional follow-up, and consultative execution
  • Step in to support complex deals, negotiations, and key customer conversations
     

Coaching, Team Development & Performance

  • Run pipeline reviews, call coaching, and deal strategy sessions
  • Develop scripts, talk tracks, objection handling, and sales playbooks
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and ramp Sales Representatives and SDRs as needed
  • Create a culture of accountability, growth mindset, and customer-first selling
     

Customer Experience & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding and customer support/success
  • Communicate market feedback and customer insights back to leadership
  • Represent Elm Street at industry events/trade shows as needed
Requirements

  Required Skills


  •  7–12+ years of sales experience (SaaS/subscription, real estate tech strongly preferred)
  • 3–5+ years in sales leadership (team coaching, hiring, performance management)
  • Proven success as both a leader and individual contributor
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI discipline
  • Highly professional communication style with the ability to influence and inspire
  • Residential real estate industry experience 


Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling integrated technology services, including CRM, marketing automation, websites/IDX
  • Experience selling into broker/owners, team leaders, and multi-location brokerage orgs
  • Background in sales process optimization and conversion improvement
