Part-Time Line Cook (Evenings 4:30pm-10:00pm)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen in the absence of the Lead Cook, while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. We are looking for a candidate with flexible availability to ensure continuity of coverage for the for both the restaurant and banquet outlets.


Key Responsibilities:
- Close the kitchen ensuring all tasks are completed.

- Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items to maintain consistency and quality.

- Report any out-of-stock items to the Food and Beverage Manager promptly.

- Prepare all breakfast and dinner menus as directed.

- Prepare employee lunch daily

- Review banquet event orders and prepare dishes for banquet functions

- Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel to ensure efficient workflow.

- Ensure all dining room associates follow proper ordering and pick-up procedures.

- Perform dinner set-up duties according to the Prep List schedule.

- Maintain health and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.




Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role or similar position.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Knowledge of health and sanitation standards.

- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
