Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CASUAL RESTAURANT SERVER:

Our club is seeking to hire a casual pool side restaurant server. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. Friendly and welcoming, you provide immediate attention to all upon seating. You patiently provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, and potential food allergens. Having learned our menu inside and out, you also offer recommendations upon request.


You are careful to inform the cooks about any special instructions. You promptly refill drinks and clear away dirty dishes. Taking pride in your dining area, you are conscientious about adhering to health codes and cleaning procedures as well as completing side work. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction from helping our members and their guests have a great dining experience!


WORK SCHEDULE:

Position requires working variable shifts including daytime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older (to serve alcohol)
  • Some High School attendance; HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • One+ years of serving or food running experience preferred
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a hot, humid environment

Experience in a country club environment, experience with a point-of-sale system, and some wine knowledge are highly desirable but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
